Architect’s portraits
When we see a house, we usually don’t know who the person is behind it, how their life led them to the creation. Because by researching the house, we can find out the name of the company, the philosophy of the company, and we can also understand the client’s needs, but we still don’t know much about the designer, the person himself. How did his life and thoughts lead him to the ideas that led him to dream up what we already see ready or document myself. Taking another step back from looking at the person, I tried to depict them like a poem analysis and thereby deviate more boldly from traditional portraits, draw attention to them, and thus provide space for conversation with a text section, so that while we reflect on the picture, we try to decipher the creator, how the designer’s life may have developed, what his thoughts stem from, based on which he draws the first lines.
