The professional documentation of architectural and interior design projects is now an essential tool for professional communication. Photos and films contribute to the visibility and publication opportunities of the building, and thus the company that designed or constructed it, but they also serve as a long-term reference.

In my work, my goal is to support design offices, construction companies and partners involved in the project as a reliable partner in this process.

The photography is usually preceded by a preliminary consultation, during which we jointly review which details, perspectives and work phases can be documented most usefully for the project. If this is not possible, my individual vision and decades of experience allow me to capture the specific features of the given building independently, adapting to the situation.

Following international communication practices, I have designed my portfolio and workflows so that the photo and video material I produce is suitable for presenting the entire story of a project. In addition to documenting completed buildings, I undertake visual monitoring of the construction process, drone photography, model photography and, if required, filming.

The finished materials can be used in many ways: in portfolios, application materials, professional publications, press communications, social media and newsletters.

I select and post-process the photos and videos and deliver them in a format suitable for professional use, within a short deadline.

Process

1. Preparation

  • After contacting me, I will coordinate the information
  • Prepare and approve an offer
  • Field inspection if necessary and possible
  • Discuss all the circumstances that may arise
  • Planning the photoshoot

2. Day of photography

  • If the assignment is a full day, I arrive at the location early and leave late in the evening.
  • After arrival, I walk around and prepare the location
  • During the day, I sometimes move furniture and objects for the most beautiful compositions
  • Depending on the orientation, I usually photograph different sides of the building at all times of the day, from early morning light until dusk, in the best possible light, so that I can always be at the ideal time and place to discover rare and spectacular moments. This gives me the opportunity to take special atmospheric shots from interesting angles and settings during the time I spend there.
  • I send the finished raw/unprocessed view images to the client for selection within 1 day.

3. Post-production

  • The process is completed here with the final touches.
  • As soon as I receive the selection made by the client (or we select the material together according to my suggestions), the retouching of the photos begins, which usually takes longer than the photography itself.
  • Since I return to 1-1 material the next day with a fresh eye, the finished photos are usually delivered to the client within 5 working days.
  • During this time, I adjust the colors in the entire image, make contrast and exposure settings, remove or correct distracting elements and crop the images according to composition, so that I can achieve the best mood in the final images with the help of Photoshop. After that, I send the finished images, which can be used immediately.

The signature is the work I have developed to perfection, which I do 99% of the time for my clients who want quality material about their work, but if a project requires more, if you plan to communicate with a material more seriously, I offer the Premium package, which allows us to achieve the most results in all respects.

Prices

As a freelance architect or design office, custom photography provides me with the opportunity to document projects for awards, PR, a website, or my own publication, so I offer individual and cost-sharing pricing for individuals, companies, and emerging designers, depending on needs and budget.

Individual

Booking an individual photo shoot is the perfect solution that allows you to work on your own schedule and with a known budget without having to deal with other interested parties.

I offer package prices for taking photos and films and using the materials provided, including a half- or full-day fee and a pre-agreed photo quantity.

Since every project is different, I can calculate a precise offer based on the details of the project and your individual needs.

Shared cost

In addition to the established package prices, I offer a discounted option for the joint use of the same photo material selected from a given project by several companies (designer, contractor, developer, supplier, etc.).

This means that the use of a given image material can be purchased by several companies at a discounted surcharge. In other words, the more users order the finished materials together, the better the total amount can be distributed, the more favorable the individual partial amount can be.
